It is sad that this newsgroup has been primarily taken over by spammers. :(
I am posting in reply to this thread only because it got the attention of
the folks who appear to be the 'serious' readers of this newsgroup. I am not
a regular here, and although I will try to check back for any answers, I ask
that any interested parties please respond to me by my personal email which
is (remove _pleasenospam_)
We are a small software company, recently moved from Silicon Valley. While
our primary product line usually consists of PC Gaming Software, we have
just recieved a preliminary acceptance for two major projects by the US
Military, Anti-Terrorism dept. One project is simulation software to aide in
training our troops and preparing them for combat. The other is a
high-security project to develop a new reconnaissance device.
The department head we have been communicating with in Arlington, VA has
(just today) asked us to fly out to make a presentation to the entire
department. Unfortunately, we are just getting our company on its feet
(after being out of business for several years) and we do not even have the
funds to fly out and make this presentation. The projects, of course, could
easily lead to millions of dollars.
We are only seeking a single investor to help us cover costs to make the
trip, hotel for 2-3 nights and food. This would be a very small investment
and we are open to terms. I am a real person, and this is not a scam. We'll
even invite you to our house... ;) We're just desperate and I'm exploring
every avenue I can think of to help us (my husband and I) take advantage of
this opportunity of a lifetime.
I am also going to post this as a separate post.
