LONDON (AFX) - Grosvenor Land Holdings PLC announced a 259 pct jump in
full-year pretax profits, boosted by the success of the PowerHub business
centre concept.
Pretax profits totalled 439,565 stg in the year to March 25 2003, up from
122,570 stg in the previous year.
EPS rose to 1.12 pence from 0.26 and the company recommended a final
dividend of 0.2 pence, making a total of 0.3 pence, up from 0.2.
The company said the expansion of the Powerhub business centre concept is
proving extremely successful and added that it will continues to sell non-
core assets to fund the national roll-out of Powerhub.
Chief executive Douglas Blausten said: 'After a period of much research we
are delighted to be progressing with our Powerhub business concept and now
have three centres around the UK.
'We are constantly seeking new opportunities in order to further this
concept, create high-quality revenue streams and build a business that
rewards our shareholders.'
